Created From Darkness to Light as a one-scene retelling of the Passover story for the National Council of Jewish Women’s Women’s Seder. A shift from deep blues into warm sunrise tones mirrors the movement from fear and constriction toward hope, freedom, and renewal. The towering “walls” nod to the splitting of the sea, while a central glow suggests guidance through uncertainty. Simplified figures move together and gather into a living Star, an image of community, belonging, and collective liberation. Florals along the edges evoke spring, rebirth, and life returning after a hard season.
